Happy Swim Meet Day!

As I begin meet preparations for today, I am sending you the heat sheets attached to this message.  A few notes for today.

1.  Our first event is actually Event 8 combined with 9 where we left off last time.  

2.  There will be combined events especially relays and littles but also anywhere else that can be combined.

3.  There is a third team at this meet.  A new team who wants to join the league is coming.  They only have 7 swimmers joining us today.

4. Several of our kids are trying new things that might get them dq'd.  It's OK if they get a dq.  Coach Cori is doing the same thing.  We will know what to fix or to wait until next year and try again.  If they have not swum something during our regular meets, they cannot swim it in the championship and we have several kids right on the edge of a new stroke.  Please note that if they are sorely afraid and it is a huge deal, they do not have to swim the individual event that makes them uncomfortable.  We will work on it again next summer!  We will not be mad or disappointed in them!

5.  Our warm-ups begin at 5:30 sharp so please have your children ready to go at that time.  The way everyone set up last time was so great!  Thank you for that!  It made it easier for us to queue the children and to see everyone.  It also made it easier for the children to see the coaches and get to where they needed to be.  You guys are great!!!
