McGee's Manta Rays

This is my fifth year as a Manta Rays parent and my third year as a coach.  All five of our children participate on the team with four swimming and two coaching.  I am also a parent league representative.  I am blessed to be able to be involved in everything my children do.  It is both an honor and a privilege to work with your children. It's going to be a great season.

This will be my first year coaching swim, but swimming has been a big part of my family’s life for many years. All three of my children have participated in summer swim since they were little. My middle son has swum year-round with the Marlins of Raleigh for the past three years, and my oldest son swam for West Johnston High School during his freshman and sophomore years. I’m looking forward to a great summer and excited to get to know our Manta Rays family!

Having built upon my prior engagements with team management, various meet tasks, and practice design, I am looking forward to my third season with the McGees Manta Rays. Previously, I oversaw multiple managerial and administrative tasks, but in this third season, I will be taking an active role in teaching our swimmers as a coach. With multiple years of swim experience, I am excited to help the kids improve this season and achieve their next personal bests. 

Hi! I am a fifth year swimmer with the Manta Rays.  I have enjoyed helping the younger swimmers for the last three seasons, a little more each year.  This will be my second summer of official coaching.  I am excited to see what the kids will learn.

Roman has been swimming year-round for the past three years and has developed a true passion for the sport. In addition to swimming, he participates in track and cross country. He also enjoys music and plays the guitar, violin, and saxophone. Roman is excited to be a part of the Manta Rays Swim Team and is looking forward to a great season!

This will be my first year as Team Manager. My oldest daughter has swam with Manta Rays for 3 summers and loves every minute of it. I'm very excited to be behind the scenes this year and supporting the coaches while the focus are creating stronger swimmers!!
